What a Quick Shot is

A one-off capture of any market, without setting up tracking. One ASIN, up to 25 keywords, a complete picture in a few minutes.

Tracking answers "how is this changing". A Quick Shot answers "what does this look like right now" — for a market you have no intention of tracking.

What you get

The same capture a tracked market gets: every product ranking on your keywords, their positions, prices, ratings, reviews, Best Sellers Rank and badges, with your chosen product marked among them.

What you do not get is history. It is one moment, not a trend — no deltas, no signals, no charts over time.

What it is for

Evaluating a product before you commit. Considering a new listing, a new marketplace, or a category you have not sold in — a Quick Shot tells you how crowded it is and who owns it, for the cost of one credit rather than a market slot and a month of waiting.

Checking a competitor's other market. A rival who is beating you in one category may be weak in another.

A second opinion on a client's market, if you work with several.

Snapshots are kept

Each Quick Shot is saved. You can come back to it, and you can compare two shots of the same market taken at different times — which gives you a crude before-and-after without setting up tracking. It is not a substitute for tracking, because two points months apart tell you the difference and nothing about the path between them.

If you find yourself taking repeated shots of the same market, that is the market asking to be tracked.
