What signals are
Signals tell you when something changes that affects your sales: a lost Buy Box, a competitor's price cut or deal, slower delivery, a falling rating, lost rankings or a new competitor in your market.
Everything else in JustRanks waits for you to look. Signals come to you: JustRanks checks your products, your key competitors and your markets every day and posts what changed, with the numbers behind it.
What JustRanks watches
- Your products (the ones you marked as yours): Buy Box, other sellers on your listing, delivery time, price, deals and coupons, ratings, "Frequently returned", Best Seller badge, sales rank, listing changes (title, images, bullet points, A+ content, video, brand, brand story, category, variants), and rankings, visibility and Amazon's Choice across your market's keywords.
- Your key competitors: price, deals and coupons, Buy Box, sellers and fulfillment, delivery time, ratings, listing changes and new variants, Best Seller badge, sales rank, Amazon's Choice on your core keywords, and when they overtake you.
- Your markets: new and rising competitors, a new #1, price level and deal waves, a new Best Seller on your core keywords, and keyword ideas.
How serious it is
Each signal has a level:
- Critical: your sales are at risk right now. Only for your own products: a lost Buy Box, a falling rating, a core keyword out of the top 10, disappearing from search, or "Frequently returned".
- High: act this week.
- Normal: worth knowing.
- Info: small changes, such as a competitor's deal or coupon that ended.
- Opportunity: good news, or a moment to act, such as a competitor without a Buy Box.
Fewer, better signals
- A change has to show in two captures before it becomes a signal. A lost Buy Box is checked again at least an hour later.
- Missing data is never a signal.
- The same signal does not repeat within 7 days unless it gets worse or turns around. Price and delivery changes are always reported.

- The Signals tab of a market and of a product's drilldown.
Every morning at 8:00 your time, we email you when there are critical or high signals, with a link to download all signals as CSV. Your time zone is detected automatically; you can change it in Settings under Emails.
When they appear
Product pages of your products and key competitors are checked every day, so their signals arrive during the day. Market signals arrive once most of the market's keywords have been captured that day. Rankings need about ten days of daily captures before they can show a lasting change. Sales rank and visibility compare the last 7 days with the 7 before. Market prices, rising competitors and keyword ideas are checked every Monday.
