What JustRanks tracks
JustRanks captures the whole search results page for your keywords every day — not just the row your own product sits in.
Most rank trackers answer one question: where am I today? That number moves for reasons you cannot see from the number itself. You drop from 4 to 7 and the tool tells you that you dropped. It does not tell you that a competitor launched a coupon, that two new sellers entered the page, or that the product above you has been climbing for a week.
JustRanks records the page instead of the row.
What gets captured
For every keyword you track, we capture the search results page once a day and keep every organic listing on it. For the products on that page we also record what the listing showed at that moment: price, rating, review count, Best Sellers Rank, and any badge Amazon displayed, such as Bestseller, Amazon's Choice, a Deal or a Coupon.
Sponsored placements are captured separately, so advertising pressure can be told apart from organic ranking.
Why the whole page
Because your position is a result, not a cause. The useful questions are about everyone else:
- Who is above you, and have they always been?
- Who entered the page this week?
- Who is pushing ads on the keywords you rank for organically?
- Did you fall, or did someone else rise?
A single position cannot answer any of those. A full page, captured daily, can.
What it is not
JustRanks does not read your Seller Central account. It sees the same pages a shopper sees, which means it works for any product on Amazon — yours or a competitor's — and it never has access to your sales, your ad spend or your inventory.
